Another good day on the site. The weather was hot, in the lower 90's, but no rain.
We were joined by ten people from the Raleigh area who volunteer with Grifton Ministries every Tuesday. They were a big help.
Today we finished the exterior sheeting, placed the trusses, and covered the roof with sheeting. Plans are to install shingles early in the morning, before the heat of the day. Rough wiring is near completion -- thanks, Tommy!
We have never felt more welcome in a community. The neighbors have been wonderful, and today we were surprised by gifts from two local businesses. The local Bojangles brought a large supply of their outstanding iced tea for the on-site lunch. This afternoon, Fresh Market provided a huge donation of delicious food for this evening and for tomorrow's lunch. Thank you so much!
