Mountain Outreach '98

Thursday, July 9, 1998

DONE!  We have finished the Wilde's house.  The dedication ceremony was at 12:30 p.m. today.

Morning

Chet Riley, inspector, with the electricity crew.  We passed final inspection for the house at 10:00 a.m.
 

Dedication

Roger begins the dedication.

The Wilde family receive CPBC Mountain Outreach '98 T-shirts.

Wes present the Wildes a Bible.

Beaulah receives a plaque for their home from Bill and Mary Nell..

Beaulah receives a key to her home from Bob and A.C.

Rick, Wallace, and Jack give Mike the certificate of occupancy and a key to the home.

  
Roger begins handing out rice cakes to recognize special effort on the job.  These rice cakes are known to last for years without refrigeration.

Bob presents Roger his own award: a birdhouse made from building tools.  Thanks to Roger for his leadership on this project!

Greg offers the prayer of dedication.  The home now belongs to the Wilde family.
 

Thursday afternoon

Several youth take a well-deserved break before helping break down tents and load equipment and supplies.
