Sunday, August 25 will be a Sunday of celebration, class promotion and worship. Everyone is invited to Smith Hall during the Sunday School hour for breakfast and the kickoff celebration.
At the end of the Service of Affirmation on August 25, every student in our church will have an envelope available to be picked up by our adult church members. All we ask of our adults is to keep these students in their ongoing prayers as well as communicate with them on a periodic basis. This is a simple task that has eternal impact. Please pray about being part of this invaluable ministry. If you wish to continue with your current prayer partner for the coming school year, please let Jeff Allen know by August 21.
Book Club meets on Monday evening, August 26, at 7:00.
There will be no evening activities on Wednesday, August 28.
Grub Club will be going to Olive Garden on Thursday, August 29, leaving the church at 6:00 p.m. Sign up at the Welcome Desk if you would like to go with us.
At our Church Conference in October, we will be voting on a motion to remove the “3-year term” for Church Clerk in our Constitution.
