At the end of the Service of Affirmation, every student in our church will have an envelope available to be picked up by our adult church members. All we ask of our adults is to keep these students in their ongoing prayers as well as communicate with them on a periodic basis. This is a simple task that has eternal impact. Please pray about being part of this invaluable ministry.

Max Lucado says that many Christians underestimate what happened to them upon conversion. Trusting Christ is more than a removal of sin. It is a deposit of power. “Could you use more energy? You have it. More kindness? It’s yours. Could you use some self-control, self-discipline, or self-confidence? God has already given them to you. You just need to claim your inheritance.” (Lucado) Join us for our study of Glory Days by Max Lucado. Our study begins Wednesday, September 11 at 6:30 pm. This is a 7-8 week study. Our time will be led by Steve Loftis. Please sign up at the Welcome Desk.

Come enjoy a few dogs with all the fixings and be entertained by an award winning Barber Shop Quartet, “Sound Counsel,” who never disappoints. We do ask that you help chip in $5 to help offset the cost of the meal.
At our Church Conference in October, we will be voting on a motion to remove the “3-year term” for Church Clerk in our Constitution.
