This Saturday the Congolese ladies and their children move into the Ransom Road house. We need help moving their furniture from 9:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. Can you help?

Josh Hauser has donated use of a panel truck, so we should be able to make the move in one trip.

Please gather at Diamond Ridge Apts (formerly The Ledges),  730 Anson Street  Apt. G-27, Winston-Salem.  It’s the brick apt across the street from the office —  G-27 is in the back of the building.

• The menu for Wednesday night supper is sweet and sour meatballs, hashbrown casserole, green beans, rolls and dessert.
• Donation boxes are located in the hallway for Operation Christmas Child. Our children and youth mission groups will be packing the gift boxes on Wednesday, November 7. A list of suggested items can be found in the Family Ministry Newsletter for November.
• We will once again decorate the Sanctuary with red poinsettias for Christmas. If you would like to give a plant in honor of, or in memory of someone, please complete an order form and return it to the church office along with your payment, no later than Friday, November 30. (Please do not place your order in the offering plate.) The price is $10.25 per plant.
• Deacon Election is on November 11th. Absentee ballots are located in the church office.
• College Parkers meet on Thursday, November 15 at 11:30 a.m. in Smith Hall. Stan and Deborah Colbert will be sharing with us about their work with the Salvation Army. This will be a covered-dish meal.
• Thanksgiving Eve Service will be Wednesday, November 21 at 7:00 p.m. There will be no other activities that evening.
• Family Game Night is Sunday, November 25 at 6:00. Join us for a fun game of soccer.
• Sign up at the Welcome Desk if you would like to go with the Grub Club to Mi Pueblo on November 26. We will leave the church at 5:45 p.m.
• Book Club meets on Monday, November 26 at 7:00 p.m.
• Mission Trip: November 28 – December 1. Who will come to the aid of our neighbors to the east? Baptists on Mission need teams to help with recovery from Hurricane Florence. • Our Fall Family Festival is on Wednesday, October 31, 5-7 p.m. We need individuals, couples, families, Sunday School classes, mission groups, etc. to sign up to decorate a vehicle trunk with any child-centric theme. The children will visit these cars to receive candy, other give-aways, and even play a game you create! We are needing 25 trunks.

Disaster Relief through Baptist Men is supported by this offering.
