at Mountain Outreach:
Finished!
We finished the home and dedicated it this afternoon. The house
passed final inspection.
The Ivey's moved into their new home this evening.
We all thank you for your prayers as we have worked this week.
We thank the students and staff of Mountain Outreach for their help and for
starting and running this wonderful program. We thank Roger Jones and Wes
and Barbie Morgan for their leadership and hard work in leading the College
Park Mountain Outreach project.
We end this report with the words of Jesus Christ. This scripture
was shared during the afternoon's dedication:
For I was hungry and you gave me something to eat, I was thirsty and
you gave me something to drink, I was a stranger and you invited me in,
I needed clothes and you clothed me, I was in prison and you came to visit
me.
Then the righteous will answer him, 'Lord when did we see you hungry
and feed you, or thirsty and give you something to drink? When did we see
you a stranger and invite you in, or needing clothes and clothe you? When
did we see you sick or in prison and go to visit you?'
The King will reply, 'I tell you the truth, whatever you did for one
of the least of these brothers of mine, you did for me.'
Matthew 25:35-40
We thank the Lord for blessing us and equipping us that we could build a new
home for the Ivey's.
