We began our Wednesday night summer series on June 19. You are invited to bring your own bag dinner at 6:00 p.m. and we will begin our Prayer Meeting at 6:30 p.m. Families can enjoy “Game Night” beginning at 6:30.
Join us for a fun night of baseball and free hot dogs at the Winston Salem Dash on Monday, June 24. The cost is $13 per person. Our buses will leave the church at 6:00 p.m. Sign up at the Welcome Desk.
Mark your calendar for a church-wide afternoon swim party, cookout and fellowship on July 3, 3:00-10:00 p.m. at Carrigan Farms. The cost is $10 per person, with a family maximum of $20. This includes an incredible cookout, unique swimming location and fun times for all.
Children’s Day Camp will be July 8-12, 9:00 a.m. – 3:00 p.m. This camp will be for children who have completed kindergarten through 6th grade. The cost for the week is $75 per child with $150 family maximum. Please sign up by July 3 at www.atthepark.ws.
Youth Camp is July 15 – 19 at Covenant College.
Basketball Camp is July 29 – August 1, 6:00 – 7:30 pm. This is an instructional camp for children, rising kindergarten up to 6th grade. The cost is $20. Contact Matt Wilson or Jeff Allen for more information.
We often think of idols as ancient graven images or golden calves, but God’s people still battle idolatry every day. Our idols look more familiar-money, fame, power, work, ministry, and people. We serve these gods above the one true God and miss the unrivaled joy of following and knowing Jesus Christ. This 8-week study, No Other Gods, will help identify the gods you may be unknowingly serving and the lies they tell you. The study will meet Wednesday nights at 6:30 starting July 10th, led by Mary Keltner and Lee Loftis. No worries if you have to miss a week for vacation…video is available online.
