- Make plans to join us beginning at 5:30 p.m. on Sunday, February 2 for a churchwide Super Bowl Party.
- Volunteer training for the Forsyth Jail Ministry team will take place today, Sunday January 26, at St. Peter’s World Outreach Center,3683 Old Lexington Road, W-S 27107. Training begins promptly at 2:30 pm and will end no later than 4:00. Please bring a good photocopy of your driver’s license. Please come join our jail ministry team!
- Are you over 70 ½? If so, you may want to consider making a donation direct to the church for your IRA mandatory withdrawal through a Qualified Charitable Distribution, and it could save you money on your taxes. There is a new law called the Secure Act that was just passed that allows the age for RMD to be pushed to 72 if you have not reached 70 ½ by the end of 2019. Consult your retirement advisor, your tax advisor, or Grace Hodge in the church office with any questions and see if you qualify for this possible tax benefit.
