Welcome
to the main page for the story of our sixteenth annual house-building trip
to Kentucky. Below find the daily updates and photos of the project, posted
contemporaneously.

- Saturday: Loading the truck.
- Sunday: Commisioning service at our
church and organizational meeting in Williamsburg, KY.
- Monday: First day on site. Framing
the house, putting on the roof, painting the exterior, pulling wiring. Group
photo later on page.
- Tuesday: Dry wall installation and
mudding, shingles. Rough electrical inspection passed. In the evening, we
gather for a hot dog supper.
- Wednesday: Painting completed inside
and out. Linoleum installed. First deck completed. Permanent power connected
to the meter. Final electrical inspection passes.
- Thursday: Second deck completed.
Light fixtures installed. Kitchen cabinets installed. Plumbing completed.
House complete and tool bus packed. Furniture and applicances moved in, drapes
hung.
- Friday: Dedication ceremony and departure
for Winston-Salem.
