The roofing crew got an early start shingling the roof and were finished by 11:00. Stud spaces without wiring were stuffed with insulation, while stud spaces containing wiring were kept empty pending the rough electrical inspection. The house passed its rough electrical inspection shortly after noon.

Today's lunch was delicious and plentiful as usual.

In the early afternoon, the remainder of wall insulation was put in place and dry wall hung. Construction started on the first deck, which is mostly complete. We were glad to see the plumbers arrive on site.

This evening we gathered at First Baptist Church of Williamsburg for a hot dog supper prepared by our food crew (its second meal of the day!). We thank the church for allowing us to use its facilities. As always, the food was delicious.

We are still ahead of our usual pace, and are grateful for the good weather, level site, and the prayers of all those thinking of us. Please check back tomorrow for more updates and photos.
